Dear Fellow Sauder Alumni,

Welcome to the Sauder Business Club of Toronto – a club that was set up to meet the business, social, and professional development needs of Toronto’s Sauder alumni.  The Club was launched on October 2, 2008 in front of 120 alumni who were excited to see a strong Sauder presence in Toronto.  The remarkable story, though, has been what we have done in the short time since our launch.  We have:

·     Grown the membership base two-fold, increasing our numbers across BComs and MBAs, across graduation years, and across industries;

·     Toured some of Toronto’s hottest bars at our four social events;

·     Benefited from the wisdom of Senior Executive panellists (including three CEOs) at our two Professional Development events;

·      Matched eight pairs of alumni in our highly sought-after mentorship program;

·      Secured five senior, well-known Toronto Sauder alumni to serve as our Board of Directors;

·       Inspired the launch of sister clubs in London and Calgary

Since the beginning, this has been a Club by alumni, for alumni.  We have an enthusiastic Executive who has pledged to not only build upon the Club’s early successes, but who insists on keeping you – effectively, both our customers and shareholders – engaged, motivated, and satisfied. 

To accomplish this, we must remain fresh and relevant.  We need to expose you to not only the largest Sauder alumni base outside of Vancouver, but to some of the top Senior Executives in the city.  We need to continue to leverage and share the School’s thought leadership.  And, we must continue to listen to our members.  Please feel free to share your thoughts with us at any time.
